Brian Conley and Maddie Grace Jepson join Back to the Future The Musical

Stage and screen favourite Brian Conley is stepping into the DeLorean! He’ll play Doctor Emmett Brown in the smash-hit Back to the Future The Musical at London’s Adelphi Theatre from Wednesday 13 August – Monday 3 November 2025.

Conley’s West End highlights include 9 to 5, Hairspray, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jolson (Olivier-nominated), and Me and My Girl. He’s also well known from EastEnders, The Brian Conley Show, and a record eight Royal Variety appearances.

He takes over from Cory English, who will return to the role from 5 November 2025.

While Tik Tok sensation and actor Maddie Grace Jepson will play Lorraine Baines in BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre from Wednesday 13 August 2025, making her West End and professional stage debut.

Maddie Grace Jepson said,

Maddie Grace Jepson is best known for her online content creation, with a global digital following of over 2.1 million across her platforms, as well as hosting red carpets for major events including the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. On screen, Maddie played the role of Jade in Channel 4’s Big Mood, alongside Nicola Coughlan.

Now in its 4th year, Back to the Future The Musical has thrilled over 1.6 million people and includes songs from the film (The Power of Love, Johnny B. Goode) plus new music by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. It’s won an Olivier Award and continues to break box office records.
